Neocodex workshop on genome wide scans for disease susceptibility
Sevilla, 13 de Junio de 2008
The goal of this workshop is to promote local genome-wide scans for disease susceptibility and to foster international collaborations. The Local Government officials (R+D Secretary, Andalusian Government) are funding this workshop that is jointly organized by them and Neocodex.

HFCC
This new method provides much greater power to both sample-limited WGAS and pharmacogenomic studies
Neocodex has built a cooperative network of hospitals and physicians throughout the Kingdom of Spain. NeoCodex has established an active association of highly-trained clinical partners, all of whom share a commitment to maintaining the ethical preservation and collection of donated biomaterials.
NeoCodex is providing a deeper understanding of the genetic roots of disease. Applying NeoCodex's breakthrough whole genome association study (WGAS) technology, genomic services and biomaterials, researchers are gaining a clearer path to creating tomorrow's medicines through uncovering a greater understanding of human genetics and genetic variability.
HFCC is a redefining how whole genome association analysis (WGAS) are conducted. HFCC applies case-to-case and case-to-control methodologies to perform genome association studies. HFCC's analysis engine also performs multi-locus analysis, integrates proprietary noise filtering and statistical methods to set new standards for data interpretation. With HFCC researchers can complete studies more quickly, effectively and economically than previously thought possible.
